Happy Armed Forces Day

Oorahs and Hooahs aside, today is a day to celebrate the human side of our Armed Forces and appreciate their dedication to something larger than themselves. Our members in uniform are, in the end, men and women just like the rest of us who chose a life of service for a cause that they believe in. So I thank the Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, Coast Guardians, and Airmen, both in the uniform and out of it, for being there to defend the US and the Constitution when chaos calls. That, deserves a Hooah.

The Star Trek album on spotify is so adventurous and exciting and amazing and makes me think that anything is possible. Because it is. Faith, perseverance, hope, and kindness will take you to the stars.

One thing that I ask for from life is a single best friend; someone who will, through thick and thin, just be someone who I know will have my back, and who I can have their back as well. A partner in crime justice. A wingman.
